Diaphragm Pump Parts

Diaphragm pump parts are needed when an Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pump fails. Pumps fail in a variety of ways, such as diaphragm wear, ball and seat erosion, or air valve sticking.

The PSG® Store carries genuine diaphragm pump parts direct from the manufacturer.

Common Diaphragm Pump Parts and What They Do

AODD pumps, a type of positive displacement pump, are mechanically simple; a small set of components handles nearly all the work. Knowing what each part does helps diagnose problems faster and order the right replacement the first time.

  • Diaphragms: the flexible discs that flex back and forth to draw and discharge fluid. The most common wear part. Replace at the first sign of cracking, blistering, or chemical attack.

  • Balls and seats (check valves): control the direction of fluid flow in and out of each chamber. Wear shows up as loss of prime, reduced flow, or backflow during the pump's idle stroke.

  • Air valve assembly: the pneumatic shuttle that switches the air supply between the two pump chambers. A sticking or worn air valve causes stalling, irregular cycling, or complete pump stop.

  • O-rings and gaskets: seal the connections between pump body sections. Leaks at body joints almost always indicate failed O-rings.

  • Air filter/muffler: protects internal pneumatic components from dirty supply air and reduces operating noise. Often overlooked until pump performance degrades.

  • Connecting shaft and bearings: connect the two diaphragms and ride against the pump body. Less common as wear items but checked during full rebuilds.

Rebuild Kits vs. Individual Parts

A rebuild kit replaces all common wear parts, such as diaphragms, balls, seats, O-rings, and gaskets, in a single matched set. Kits are the right choice when scheduling planned maintenance, when a pump has been in service for several years, or when you don't know exactly which part has failed but want to restore the pump to spec.

Buy individual parts when you have a specific failed component, the rest of the pump is in good condition, and you want to minimize parts cost. Both approaches are common, and the PSG® Store stocks both.

Genuine Wilden® and All-Flo™ Pump Parts

The PSG® Store carries only genuine diaphragm pump parts from Wilden® and All-Flo™: never aftermarket or compatible substitutes. Genuine parts maintain manufacturer warranty coverage, match factory spec exactly, and are tested for the specific diaphragm pump models they fit. Aftermarket parts may fit, but often shorten pump life or cause intermittent problems that are hard to diagnose.

Find the Right Part for Your Pump

Use the filters above to narrow by brand and pump part type, or use the pump finder if you're sourcing parts for a pump you don't have full specifications for. Every part ships directly from the manufacturer, with the PSG® Store handling the order, support, and warranty.
